Fall Coloured Mini Skirt

I don't remember what pattern I used to make this skirt.  *Calls over shoulder* Cain! What pattern did I use to make this skirt?

 He doesn't know. He wasn't there.



I do know the pattern was from Burda and I also made an alteration of it for my best friend (who wore the white dress). The fabric used was some scrap lining, and some rough, tweed-like fabric that was left over from a costume my mum had made years ago.

I'd hoped the skirt would  sit at my waist, but I didn't made the darts big enough so it sits at my hips, which is ok. Though, it is a bit too tight around the thighs, so it's always riding up when I walk.

Oh well, it looks pretty good in pictures.
