Learning To Embroider!

I've always wanted to learn how to embroider. And now I am learning.

So I've learned 3 stitches so far; the running stitch, the backstitch, and the split stitch.

1- running stitch  2- backstitch  3- split stitch  

The running stitch is just a basic stitch, with even stitches.  The backstitch involves doubling back to create a line without gaps.  The split stitch is going back, under the stitch and coming back up through the previous stitch.

I've been learning via youtube video tutorials by Wendi Gratz. They're pretty easy to follow.  

I'm starting to learn some more stitches.  The next one is the chain stitch.
