Thankfully, so far so good.
Since I'm broke, for Christmas, I'm making gifts. For my dad, I'm making a scarf. It will by mostly white but with a set of three stripes at each end.
I'm using 4 mm needles, and two different polyester yarns. I started by casting on 40 stitches.
(In case you don't know, the black strands hanging off of there are place markers. I placed them every 10 stitches to keep count)
I knit 5 rows with the white yarn,
then I switched over to the black yarn,
and knit 15 rows with that.
Back to white, and I knit 10 stitches, then 10 more in black.
I then added another 15 rows in white, and and 5 rows with the black. From there on, it's all white until I feel like it's long enough to finish off.
This is how far I've gotten.
I've got a looooonnng way to go. And so little time.
I like the pattern! Best of luck on finishing it. I'm sure you'll be able to.
